Brandywine Maple is a highly desirable shade tree specimen originating from the U.S.National Arboretum’s tree genetics program. Brandywine has emerald green leaves in summer and early bright long lasting fall color that begins as a beautiful red that gradually turns a brilliant purple red that persists far longer than most red maples. This is a seedless variety with great proven performance. Mature trees develop into an oval rounded form up to 40′ high with a 30′ span. It makes an excellent lawn or street tree. USDA zones 4-9
