We are one of a very few local growers who actually grow Schip Laurels in this area, and we are proud of how green and succulent our specimens are. Although we do ship in larger 5' specimens, our younger locally grown Pennsylvania specimens are outstanding. These are very popular, and will offer you privacy while other shrubs/ trees lose their leaves in the fall and winter... This is an excellent screening and privacy specimen that is lush, evergreen, and is a friendly privacy wall that adds year around beauty and will not offend any neighbor. Highly recommended! Wetland Trees
River Birch, 'Heritage'is a special cultivar with white and peach colored exfoliating bark. Please note that we sell the single trunk version only and these particular trees can grow up to 3' - 4' per year. They are hardy, more resistant to insects and disease, well adapted to wet soils, and are fast growing. They also provide some screening with their branching.

We get a lot of requests for this tree, and it is one of our favorites too. Limited availability.

Sun Valley Maple is a fast growing tree that puts on a colorful leaf display in the fall. It holds its leaves well into the fall.
Flowering Trees
The Helen Taft Cherry tree is a fantastic flowering cherry tree variety named after a female trailblazer in the early 1900's who also happened to be the wife of President Howard Taft. She was one of the key people who helped create the Cherry Blossom arboretum along the Potomac river bordering Washington DC and Virginia. This specimen is a outstanding flowering tree specimen, and would look great in a grouping, or in a tree line! It is a deciduous upright tree with a spreading crown, reaching both a height and width of 20' x 25'+ after 25 years of growth. We find that this tree is very hardy with minimal problems with insects and disease.  It is most comparable to its female parent, Prunus x yedoensis Yoshino, except for its slightly larger size and noticeably large pink flowers. This tree is a true winner, and we are quite impressed with its many positive characteristics. It is Highly recommended!
Native Trees
Liriodendron tulipifera, "Tulip Tree" is a fast growing, native shade tree known for its colorful flowers and straight trunks. This tree has green to yellow orange flowers in May to June. It is a low maintenance tree that can grow in full sun and in clay and medium wet soils. It attracts, birds including hummingbirds.
Shade Trees
Ginkgo biloba trees are great as a lawn tree, street tree or shade tree. Beautiful, bright yellow leaves in the fall. A hardy and excellent columnar tree specimen for narrow spaces. The Ginkgo, or Maidenhair tree is relatively fast growing and many people are intrigued with its leaf shape and branch structure.
Columnar Trees
The Armstrong Maple is an exceptional tree in a highly desirable and fast-growing columnar form that grows tall and narrow for those tighter places. It provides aerial beauty, color, and privacy screening. It really is the perfect tree for so many situations. It can be planted as a single tree or in a row to create that breathtaking architectural design. This is a really wonderful tree that keeps its leaves into November/ December and puts forth a very colorful display making it a real performer. It is one of our favorites, and is a well-mannered tree. Highly recommended!
