The Armstrong Maple is an exceptional tree in a highly desirable and fast-growing columnar form that grows tall and narrow for those tighter places. It provides aerial beauty, color, and privacy screening. It really is the perfect tree for so many situations. It can be planted as a single tree or in a row to create that breathtaking architectural design. This is a really wonderful tree that keeps its leaves into November/ December and puts forth a very colorful display making it a real performer. Fairview Flame Maple tree is a fast growing red maple that has brilliant red leaves in the late fall. It has smaller leaves, and holds on to its leaves into late November.

Sugar maple tree is a grand American native tree that puts on a spectacular fall display of yellow and orange leaves. It is truly an American favorite tree known for it beauty, summer shade, and gorgeous fall colors! It is well recognized especially in the Northeast US, and is the tree that creates the sap for Maple syrup. We get a lot of requests for this tree, and it is one of our favorites too. Columnar Trees
Slender Silhouette Sweetgum is an outstanding fast growing columnar tree that provides spectacular beauty and design to any upscale landscape. It can grow up to a 40' height with only a narrow 4' width up it's entire height! These trees should excite every landscape designer, and those with aerial views that they want to block. Slender Silhouette Sweetgum trees produce star-shaped dark green leaves in summer, turning yellow to deep red in fall. These are hard-to-find trees, grow fast, and make spectacular border trees in small numbers. They are effective privacy trees, and make a very impressive design statement. Highly recommended!
Native Trees
Liriodendron tulipifera, "Tulip Tree" is a fast growing, native shade tree known for its colorful flowers and straight trunks. This tree has green to yellow orange flowers in May to June. It is a low maintenance tree that can grow in full sun and in clay and medium wet soils. It attracts, birds including hummingbirds.
Shade Trees
Dawn Redwood is a magnificent deciduous tree. It has gorgeous soft green needles, and is a fantastic and inspiring tree to see and grow. Dawn Redwood is a magnificent deciduous tree, and is a relative of the California redwood (Sequoia sempervirens) and giant sequoia (Sequoiadendron giganteum), diverging around 150 million years ago. Dawn redwood prefers a wetter environment to grow, and it needs full sun to grow its best when it is a larger tree. We start these as 'understory' trees and they love the high open canopy above them giving the good indirect light. It does best in moist to wet soils, so it can be a good choice for large rain garden locations. As with all trees a good organic planting location would be ideal for these trees.
Native Trees
The American Sycamore tree is a great American native tree known for its majestic size, and multi-color bark. It is a much loved tree with great historic interest, and has strong winter and all season appeal. The Sycamore tree is a large beautiful fast growing shade tree commonly seen along stream banks and in low areas. It does need regular moisture to establish itself. American Sycamore trees are often grown in tree lines to create impressive lines of the majestic trees. This year's crop is growing very straight and are quite amazing. Customers considering these trees should buy now. Highly recommended tree!
Native Trees
A fast growing native American variety of Oak known for its bright red fall color. The Quercus rubra or Northern Red Oak is an excellent and very popular wildlife and native tree with many positive attributes including its fast growth, water tolerance, shade production and wildlife food for deer, squirrels, and wild turkey.
Specialty Trees
The Stewartia pseudocamellia, Japanese Stewartia is an absolutely beautiful specimen that flowers from June through early August, and has striking leaves, flowers, and bark. It is one of our favorite trees, and is highly sought after, and quite hard-to-find. This specimen will reward every one who sees it throughout the year. They grow best in mixed sun and shade, especially being shaded from the hot afternoon sun. It is truly an exquisite and colorful tree.This particular specimen is highly recommended!
