Prunus x yedoensis Akebono trees produce beautiful delicate pink flowers in the spring. They are a brighter tint of pink than the flowers of the better-known and more widely planted Yoshino Cherry. Akebono Cherry tree shape is upright and spreading, reaching about 20 feet in height and spread at maturity.The foliage is medium green and turns yellow in the fall. This tree commands our respect for its beauty and its bloom timing fits well with other Yoshino cherry and flowering trees!
